At A Piece of Cake, we create unique custom cakes, cupcakes, decadent gourmet desserts, edible favors, and extraordinary dessert tables. Our inspiration comes from all the sweet things in life, but most of all it come from you, our clients! Every order is custom made to be a standout confection for your event. THE OWNER
Brittni Rea is the chef and owner of A Piece of Cake. Since the age of 7 Brittni has loved to bake and decorate. From learning the family secrets in the kitchen with her mother, now at 24 years old she is an established pastry chef, cake designer, and well known baker.
Brittni is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with extensive experience in the field of cakes and pastries, multiple years of experience as well as working for other well-known confectionary shops throughout RI.
A Piece of Cake was created in 2010 as a small business to make delicious treats for Brittni's friends and family. As her custom creations and gourmet desserts gained popularity she knew it was time to expand her business. In November 2015 Brittni officially opened A Piece of Cake making her dreams come true.
